Replacement for your Flex Drive Version 1, Version 2 and Flex Drive 3D Propeller. This will not work with the Mark IV Flex Drive.
This 2019 updated version of our FD propeller. It was designed to reduce resistance in the water, increase efficiency and take the stress off of the Flex Drive system. The end result is a propellor that cuts smoothly through the water, improves the Flex Drive experience and helps the motor go farther, faster and with the least amount of battery consumption. With this prop, the prop cover can be fully closed when the lower unit of the drive is retracted. Note this 10 x 10 prop is an upgrade for current users of our FD3D system (if you have a 2018 or older FD3D). Works well with 12V battery configurations of Flex Drive E and also when Flex Drive is propelled by pedaling.
For Flex Drive E motor users: This 10 x 10 prop is for use with the 12V battery configuration of our Flex Drive E. Not recommended for use with a 24V battery.

Replaced this new prop from the original three prop drive, what a difference, smoother and very easy to swap out.

10 x 10 propeller for Coosa FD
I could not find any info on how much faster this new 10 x 10 propeller is compared to the older 3-blade propeller, so I ran a test.
Coosa FD on a cove of a lake, no wind or current, water surface was calm.
Old 3-blade propeller: 4.2 mph.
New 10 x 10 2-blade propeller: 5.0 mph.
So, under identical conditions, I can pedal a Coosa FD with the new 2-blade propeller about 19% faster than the old 3-blade propeller. Qualitatively, pedaling the new propeller at a slower "cruising speed" is easier than with the older 3-blade propeller.
Does anybody know what the top speed is of a Coosa FD with the new electric motor? Just curious. I saw that, in general, the electric motor descriptions indicate a max speed of 5 mph, but I suppose it will depend on the weight of the person and gear in the kayak.
